Who do you guys know that build Alli's here in the midwest? I Know that Merchant is in MI and Crank it up is in the southern Part of Ohio. Anyone know anybody(not wanting a Joe Blow in his barn)?

have you checked with Dave Goerend? he's in Iowa IIRC.... click the picture link in my sig.... it'll take you to his page and you can get his contact info and ask. just be ready to talk for a while.... Dave's a good man and will set you on a straight path to what you need......

I dyno'd with 1 of the guys from Merchant (customer i think) he had a bad *** truck to say the least!!!!!

dyno'd hi 5's with drugs and a built ali. I loved the way his truck sounded when it shifted and it shifted nice and firm.

they're definately in the run, it's worth the drive to talk with them!

Check with Brayden in Plainfield. I just found out that he does the Suncaost tranny mods.

How much is the stock Allison good for? What are the common modifications?

Stock Alison as a standard will not live long over 100 extra hp, there are some running more than that. The most necessary mod to the Alison is the torque converter and a shift kit that will last for a good while under 500 rwhp, go over 500 rwhp and clutches should be upgraded as well.

Brayden, Mike, and Eric all share info one of them would be the best I would think, but contact SC and they can give you a list of guys they have worked with.
