Default Glow plugs

Can i test them with a multimeter? if so how? also i had one when i was looking through that was not connected and i pulled it out and the tip was bad. would that mean its shot or not definitely?

the interior is naked in my truck so i cant put it in run. can i hook a battery to it and see if i burn the table? or will it just get too hot to touch for hours?

You could hook some jumper cables to it and see if it lights up...

I would just replace them. You know they are working then.

Also if you have an amp clamp clamp it around the around wire to the plug, if its drawing amps it's working. If its burnt up it won't draw any amps.
