Ok so today i found myself a rabbit truck 5 speed diesel. Only problem is that the head cracked between the valves so i need to find a site or place where i could aquire one for under 200 bucks or so. Any help at all just general info about this motor is there a turbo replacement engine that is easy to swap?

How bad are they cracked? its a common problem with these engines and VW has a spec for cracks but id dont reccal the spec

 

Its cracked pretty good on the number one cylinder. The rest are tolerable it was pressurizing the cooling system. Today i bought a head from a guy i work with for 100 bucks it has cracks also but are within spec and has been pressure tested the valves have been reground came complete with cam, valves and glow plugs. I got a guy i work with that is hooking me up with a hydrogen generator for it also anyone have experience with it?
