Default what the tops speed of a non turbo 1983 idi
just wondering becuse i got mine up to the 85 mark and kept to the floor i think i was still going faster

depends on tire size and gearing/trans. find out what gears are in the rear.

my old 83 had a 4 speed manual, 33 inch rear tires and 3.08 gears in the dana 61 rear. top speed was around 105-110 mph.

got mine 7.3 5 speed auto with 285s on it up to 96 and that was flooring it and i could watch the fuel guage sink lower and lower

my old 93 had 33's on it with the injecter pump maxed out and it kept up with my friends hemi out on the freeway. im guessing 125

my 85 with 3.54, 265/75 and 3 speed auto had it up to 90

what did the pump max out at how many flats

Pump maxes out at 6 flats I believe.

my 85 6.9 with 4.10 gears and stock 235 tires maxed out around 80 I guess it was designed for the 55 speed limit back then.

85 f-250 stock tires 3.54 gears had the speedo needle at the h on the mph at the bottom of the speedo probably around 105-110
