First off I am new to this forum, So hello! Ok, I am being forced into a rebuild on my 6.9 idi. It will be outfitted with a banks sidewinder turbo. Which injectors should i use. Delphi turbo injectors? or Delphi BB injectors. If i decide to replace the ip as well, should i use a factory turbo ip, or just stay with the type i have? Thanks

Also shackle flip. Glow plug tips, is what i am being told? Sometime before i came into possesion.

 

those are big diviots for a glow plug tip.

no way. nearest i can see you had some bullets in the chamber. those are awful big for tips. how do your valves look?

 

valves look good to the eye. But gonna have the heads checked out anyway. There is only one ding that i can see so far in the heads. When i gettem cleaned up i'll be able to tell better.

 

dont look too bad. have you checked for warpage yet?

 

get them to a machine shop and have them fully checked out. never knwo what happened to them.
