Hey guys, well todays the day im planning on joining the coast guard. ive been thinking about it for a while and it seems in my best interest to do it. was wondering how many guys on here have any advice or knew a thing or two that i might not. im excited to take the next step in my life and see what else it brings.

 

Go for it dude, and don't let the 'regular forces' folks give you any crap. The Coastie's are as necessary as anyone else, even if they don't get the recognition. My only advice would be to put in as much as you can, 'cause what you put in to it you will get out of it.
