Default Injectors, fuel milage, building for the future?

Right now I'm running stock injectors and the Edge EZ, no real power house. Over the spring I want to turn it up a notch or two, but at the same time help my fuel milage.

I guess my question is, how big of injectors can I run that will still HELP fuel economy? I've been thinking about the rv275's because they are so cheap, but if im going to buy injectors I would really rather buy "ONE" set that I will be happy with for a long time and I dont see the rv275's keeping my fueling needs met in the future.

I have heard that 65hp injectors are just about right for getting the best milage, is that true?

I'd like to do this in steps but in the end I'd like to end up with some bigger injectors, Comp or Quad, and a decent turbo, maybe a 62.... I think that would keep my foot happy for good.

Sorry for the long rambling post, I was sorta thinking outloud, and typing, any imput is good.

well if your planning on a 62 then your going to want bigger injectors than that. at least 110's.

As long as your burning clean fuel, youll have good mileage. If your gonna use a 62, ull need something bigger than a 65 stick, id go with a 100 or 120 and youll be good

Good info, thanks.

I will probably buy a box first then injectors and a turbo at the same time. That will give me some time to put a trans together.

Sounds like I might end up with some 110-125's or something, bigger than I thought I needed but I can always turn the box down I guess.

yeah you need enough fuel to light the turbo. I had 110's and a 62/71/14 worked well, but the exhaust housing was a little big I would go with a 12 or 13

Sounds good to me, if I do buy one it will probably be a super phat shaft 62 or the silver 62 with the bigger 74mm wheel.

You say the 14mm exh housing was a little big, was it just a bit too laggy? I do want it to light pretty easy.
