I would start with guages, then get an intake and turbo back exhaust, from there you can get a good custom tuned chip. then its all up to you with how much power you want. i would start with that the see if you want more.

So there's nothing mechanically I can do to the pump or turbo to get more boost is there? I know with my dodge I coud put out close to 300hp before I had to buy anything at all, anything similar I can do to a ford?

No.

Gauges
Intake
Exhaust
Chip

If you want more, start saving your money.

Injectors
Turbo
Electric fuel
Intercooler
HPOP

You actually have to work for hp in a Powerstroke.

these are not mechanical injection like the cummins, everything is controled by the computer. its going to cost alot more to mod your powerstroke.

intake, turbo back exhaust, intercooler, custom tune chip and gauges and stage 1 injoctors would be a good setup and with the stage 1s you dont need an HPOP or turbo or studs.i could be wrong so you might want to check with these other guys who have been around this longer
