hi im looking for a 1st gen cummins LE tailgate that comes off on the 92 and 93 model trucks. It has the metal panel on it that says DODGE in big lettering. It has to be in good condition as well as the panel on it because i need one for my restoration. thanks.

I've been around a LOT of the 1st gen trucks and I can't say that I have ever seen a "perfect" rear panel, they all either have scratches or dents or the red vinyl piece is pulling away.

You might get real lucky and find an NOS one, but be prepared for an insane price.

Finding nice tailgates, now that's a different matter.

hey i might have that big shiny part your looking for but you know damn well shipping is gonna suck but im thinking mine is pretty damn close to perfect I dont know what its worth and im not gonna try to get rich off of it by any means the truck is at a buddys house Ill go take a look at it and snap a picture for you let me know what you wanna pay for it
