what is all needed to do a superduty conversion on a 95?

Turbo, pedistal, uppipes, spyder, intercooler, intake plendums, and I think one or both manifolds.

ok, i just have a kid that wants my stock turbo and pedistal and i thought there was quite a bit to do the conversion

Just drivers side manifold i believe.

Whats so different about an SD vs HD turbo/pedestal?

Also, there is an ebpv on these trucks right?

All powerstrokes have the EBPV other then the Vans...

Superduty pedistal is shorter, and the turbo bolts from the top

OBS is taller and the turbo bolts from the bottom.

So are they the same turbo? Why the slight differences; due to the IC (or lack of one..) perhaps?

Completely differant turbo...


There different because of 5 years of development... 94.5-99 are more or less the same, then 99.5 they went to the newer turbo...

The E99 is very similar to a OBS turbo, but with a .84 exhaust housing.

Oh yes.. development.. that makes sense.

So what kind of garrett is on my obs and what comes on an SD?
