Default Trans temp gauge

I was wondering...where is the best place to install the trans temp probe in an e4od?

the hot oil going out before the trans cooler is the best place on all auto trannys

Yeah I was just wondering if there is a plug u can remove to put the sender in or if there's more than one where's the best spot...the trans has one in it already but dOesnt work so I wanted to check placement before replacing it..I will have to look to see where it currently is....thanks to all

3-Gauge Install Pictures

Its on the drivers side of the transmission towards the front of the pan. Pull it out and pop the gauge sender in there with some teflon wrap on it. Picture shows it for a 4r100 but its the same for an E4OD
