ive never rebuilt a pump, ive always replaced them. imo it would be better to replace it with a new one, the truck will drive a whole lot better

If your CP3 is leaking i dont think the truck would be running fine.... but I agree, its probably better to replace it then to muck around trying to fix it yourself

new user to this site and new owner of duramax question is. ive replaced my injectors and now i have a new problem i have oil and fuel coming out of a tube on the front right corner of the block is this a leaking injector or do i have other issues. this tube is somehow connected to the crankcase but with the limited area you cant see where its connected but if you use a blow nozzle and blow air into the tube with the oilcap loose it will blow the cap off. if it is an injector how can i tell which one it is i replaced all 8 of them. in reading all the posts i am impressed with your site and look forward to future visits to help get this truck back to its original reputation.
