Edge Comp fuel economy?
Hey guys, i have heard that there is a difference between the juice and the comp no matter what edge says. Ive read several threads that state the comp fuels harder than the juice. My question is which of the two produces better fuel economy? thanks guys
I have the comp and I also used to have the EDGE EZ
I run the comp on 2x2 all thwe time
my opin ion is the EZ was the best for available power at a moderate level and also for the fuel econemy..........if ya drove it right as in no heavy foot

I want a little more power than what the Ez has to offer. I want to improve my fuel economy but at the same time be prepared for when I start to get more power out of my truck.
I ran my Comp for 10 years and my best economy was when it was turned off. I tracked it several times on several settings and it always came out the same. For everyday use I ran 2 X 3 myself.
When I only had the Edge Comp I ran it on 4 all the time and went from 17.5 up to 19 mpg and it didn't seem to matter if how I drove it. I got the Smarty now on 6 with the Comp on 4 and I'm getting 18 if I drive like a normal person
Thanks guys. I think Ill be looking into getting a comp. I dont plan on stacking chips or getting to radical with this truck...YET
. Im inbetween jobs at the moment so money is tight but with fuel prices i need to get better milage so a chip is in order. Maybe one day i can go nuts with her and see How much HP i can get out of it!
