Outlook or Gauge placement

Whats some good places to put the outlook or gauges

A-pillar or the overhead console, me personally, Im a short guy so A-pillar is the best choice for me

see i was thinking overhead because i kinda get distracted by things quick and putting it on the pillar i think i would get distracted by it quickly

My thing is that I would never look them in the console, you have to take your eyes off the road longer to look up that far to see them.... but thats just me, I have seen the overhead console and it looks very nice
