trouble code 2509

you may have read my other posts about my truck shutting down on its own . it was just like you turned the key off . only when ambiant temp was below 35 degrees. sometimes when it was sitting , some times when you were driving but always started right back up. the dealer replaced the batteries, the fan clutch, the fuel pressure silenoid, the fuel pressure actuator, went through the whole wire harness and grounds , and the truck still turned off. then they did what i said all along and replaced the ecm, and eureka, all fixed $4200.00 worth of parts . greve chrysler in van wert ohio may have went the wrong way about it , but they certainly acted like a 5 star dealer since all they did cost me a $100 deductable on their warrantee. So in short now i can love my 06 dodge 2500 cummins diesel

My 2004 Dodge Cummins kicked out a p2509 code because one battery was low, going bad. So I took it in and got 2 new batteries. Free installation, well the moron who said he was a mechanic and changed my batteries disconnected and reconnected positive post first on both batteries. NOTE this will fry your ecm/pcm and that is a $1200 part. SOO be careful who sticks his hands under your hood. just because they are paid as a mechanic, doesn't mean they know what they are doing.
