Do you guys know if there is a diffence between the regular v8 f-150 tail gates to the f-250 super duty body style tail gates as far as fit they look the same to me just wondering if anyone knows if they are not interchangeable. Plus the one I found on a wrecked truck small ding in the tail gate nothing major he wants $200 for it does this sound a little steep or a reasonable price?

seems like you might be able to find one a little cheaper but i may be wrong

 

When my tailgate got stolen, I bought one from craiglist for $80, but it did have some scraches, I when to FORD & they sold me touch-up paint for $15

 

Not sure about an F-150 gate, but I know a newer SD gate works. Car-Part.com is a public listing site from junk/wreck yards by state, may be able to get one cheap there in near perfect shape.

 

I've seen F-150 tail gates on F-250, but why degrade your SUPER DUTY

 

If its the same gate then whats the issue?

Your one of those guys that wont buy generic pop... because you dont want anyone to see you...

 

Just because a F-150 tailgate fits a F-250 bed, it doesn't mean they are the same

 

Then tell me oh sooper smart one, what would be the differance?
