Default flow max..wow 470.00$$/choices??

hi guys ..
wow that flow max is 470$$
that s a lot ..
any other choices out there....
there has to be a good mid range choice..

someone said.. get a big rig one at nappa... whats that...semi trucks..

Q...WHATdoes cummins suggest..??

iT does sound good to stay away from diaphragm type..

Q....has anyone ever mounted 2 pumps...say cheap/mid nappa ones...
with warning lites..
chances of both going at same time would be remotes..
could put them in line of each other...

also Q....what about an in line water separater /filter like i use on my boat..
they are the size of oil filter.... twist off /on

Q....where is my oem pump located on 98 24v
cheers

Cummins suggest pressure stay above 10 at wide open throttle.

Cheapest best pump is a raptor. It includes a lifetime warranty.

Stock pump is on drives side of block just below the fuel filter. Unless its be replaced by the dealer in that case it would be inside the fuel tank.

I have ran two pumps before. The factory in-tank pump, and a block mounted pump. I didn't like how much pressure it made at idle, but did supply enough for WOT conditions. There was no safety bonus though, both pumps had to run at the same time to work, as they were in series. One feeding the other. I do not suggest running a system like this, I only did it so I could get home. Shortly after I made a decision to put a good transfer pump on, as I plan to have the truck for a long time. I'm running a FASS 150, and it has a water separator and final filter as well.
As Luke said, bang for the buck the Raptor is the way to go.
