Default EDGE JUICE W/ATT NO BOOST

I installed ejwa and hooked up everything correctly, but the weather pack connector will not slide together al the way. If i remove the rubber part on the weather pack it slides together and reads boost. I have tried and tried to connect the weatherpack with the rubber gasket on it numerous times but it will not fit. Anyone else ever had this issue? Do I need this gasket or can I just use dielectric grease and leave the gasket out?

i would not go with out the gasket, as it may violate the terms of the warranty of the box, and believe me, edge juice boxes can and will go bad, from experience with 3 of them doing that on 2 different trucks. I reccomend contacting edge and seeing what they say on it. but before that, try taking a small flat head screw driver, put the rubber piece back in, and carefully, i mean very carfully so you dont break the pins inside, push the gasket down inside the connecter to ensure it seats all the way, hook it up and see what happens then, if it still dont work, contact edge, they may end up sending you a new harness

Put the gasket in the freezer to shrink it, throw it back on and try it that way. Then once it warms back up it'll be nice n tight in there

I've had issues with that seal as well. My fix was to remove the seal, put it in my mouth to make it flexible and slippery, and reinstall.

Ok, instead of rubber in your mouth...put a cup of water in the microwave for 3 minutes...should be close to boiling and coincidentally melting the half a gatorade bottle I used in this task, remove the water from the microwave WITH GLOVES and drop the seal into it...this should REALLY soften it up enough. I use this method every time I have to put a cylinder packing on a forklift.
