Default Leaking fuel from canister!

I have an 01 cummins and I just noticed Im leaking fuel from the filter canister around the water release valve. Im hoping its just a rubber 0 ring gone bad. Anybody know how to fix this.

yes there is an o-ring in there, take it apart and jam a new one in there

I had a leak like you decribe & it was the rubber O ring

You cannot use a regular viton o-ring. It must be compatible with diesel fuel - n-Buna looks like its the way to go:
