Default To get a fuel pressure gauge, or not to get a fuel pressure gauge?

Hey, im going to get a set of isspro gauges but i was tryin to decide if i should get a fuel pressure gauge or not. My truck is pretty much stock right now so im not to worried about fuel pressure but later on when i get more upgrades im thinking i might need it. I know hat i dont need a tranny temp gauges because i have a 6 speed manual so i dont really hav to worry about that. I just wanted to get a little help feom you guys. I have the choice to get it or not cuz im for sure going to get pyro and boost.

A fuel pressure gauge on a VP powered truck is an absolute must! Whether the truck is stock or not makes no difference! A fuel pressure gauge should be your very first BOMB!!!

Listen to this guy. It is the stock lift pumps that fail most often. Get your gauge. Also I'm of the opinion that you can never have too many gauges. It wouldn't hurt to have a tranny gauge, even though the manuals are not quite as prone to failure in stock form, a gauge may give you a chance to save it someday. I'm also the type that wouldn't mind a gauge for my rear diff.

Be a shame to see a $1000+ bill for a VP44 because one didn't put a fuel pressure gauge in. Stock or highly modified, the injection pump can fail from poor fuel supply.

Yep fuel pressure gauge is a absolute must on these VP trucks. Spend the money on the gauge now instead of $1000 later on the VP. And the combo Luke posted up is the best route to go. And also if you have a auto get a trans temp gauge at some point down the road. But get the boost, pyro, and fuel pressure first

Heck no ya don't need one. Just pay to have it towed to your mechanic and then pay him to install another IP for ya. One of the most important things you can do for your rig, but what do I know????? Or these other guys?

If its mechanical yes. You want the antifreeze on the gauge side to measure the pressure otherwise you would be running fuel into the cab.
