Default questions about injectors

now a days diesel prices are through the roof and i was wondering if split shot injectors will increase my mileage? or for that matter is there any kind of injectors that will help boost my mileage? i currently have stock injectors and edge juice with attitude and a 5 inch exhaust and a custom air intake so ive done alot to gain milage but i need more thanks

single shots will yeild the best mileage, you could bump up to a little larger injector as long as you keep your foot out of it... and by the way if your truck is a 2001 you HAVE spilt shots

Alot depends on the way you drive it. With Splits in the truck, being easy on it (0 boost and EGT's around 600), 6-POS on 75hp, my average was 22-24mpg from VA to IA. Not sure on my MPG with singles, but a tank of fuel will last me 2 weeks....if I'm being easy on it of course.

like said above depends on your foot, it will make it "chatter" a bit more, its hard to say how much of a gain you will get but i'm sure somewhere around 3-4 mpg?

Get rid of the Edge, get a custom tuned chip, and drive the truck like its a minivan.

Like there are egg's under your foot...

and FYI, dont look at injectors as a way to gain mileage, you will be disapointed.

My truck weighs in at 8900#, its got 37's and a 4" lift. If I cared about mileage I would pickup a 85 toyota Xcab with a 22r and drive it, getting 30 or so MPG...
