Default Kids These days

So earlier I went into town to get some food in my old bmw. While sitting at a light a 2nd gen 3500 with a full blown welding operation on the back pulls up next to me. I think nothing of it until it starts revving which I thought was kinda unusual for a rig like that. Light turns green and it takes off so hard you can hear the shock going through the driveline, turns out some kids are driving it that need to take shifting 101. I usually see this truck messing with people but they don't bother me in my truck. I was told the really loud whistle and straight 4" exhaust intimidates them. What irritates me is why would you mistreat your parents way of making money like that. Im only a few years older than them but I would have never dared to treat someones stuff like that. Sorry for the pointless thread but I had to vent.

I deal with kids like these everyday and it is annoying because they have no respect for anybodies property. I remeber when i began driving i drove trucks i was given and i kenw if i broke it i fixed it so that limited my ragging on my trucks. plus i usually got a pretty got butt chewing too.

Alot of kids and even adults sometimes, have the mind set of "if it's not mine, I don't care about it". I HATE anyone who is like that.

by messin with his parents truck like that hes costing them money. if he breaks anything on that by being an idiot then his parents have to pay for it plus their welder will be down for god knows how long.

If I don't drive my truck, like I stole it, them my DPF will clog & I'll end up wasting fuel on a re-gen BUT it's my truck. I told my son that he has to take GREAT care of the 2002 HONDA ACCORD EX V6 I gave him, cause if it breaks he's on foot or begging for a ride from his friends

I am still young and in school and would never treat my stuff like that. I work to pay for my own truck. And it bothers me to see kids at school pull up in their new trucks (parents money) and treat them like crap. And I ain't stupid in the streets because my one my closest friend got killed "messing around". Just put some cop lights on your truck, and get behind them. That will fix em.

I'm 17 years old and I can honestly say that if you're a teen and you don't act like this you're a dying breed. It makes me sick sometimes how people my age act. The worst part about it is the fact that most people think all teens are like this and they don't even give the willing ones like myself a fighting chance.
