Default My new LBZ

so i finally broke down and bought my very first diesel.07 (LBZ)GMC 2500HD CC,LB,2wd.it only has 21k on it.truck is 100% stock.i got tired of 10-12 mpg out of my gaser.are there things I should kn about or do?does anyone know what size tank these come with?i went 422 miles on a little over half tank.i was AMAZED!!!!this was at 70mph.checked milage n speed via GPS not just off the dash.first plan is to S.A.S.(SAS no biggie since ive done a couple already)then turbo back to stacks and PPE?not sure im up to EFI Live?these mods are down the road just need to kn the good n bads?lookin to get 450hp 800ft?kinda scary lookin under the hoodso much stuff so little roomtruck is my daily driver n will be pulling a 18-23k gooseneck.any info or tips are welcomed

thx.i got a hold of the dealer n they confirmed that it is a 34 gal tank.

you should be safe at 450hp, just a lift pump, and a transgo jr. will keep things together for quite a while being that its 2wd and not lifted

the LBZ is a beast, Nice looking rig

im gathering parts for my SAS now.why would 4wd make a diff?weight?

added stress on the drive train, with that much hp your gona do dammage if you start pounding on it in 4wd

422 miles on a half of tank, damn that is amazing. I have an 06 and can't even get that on a full tank.

he's probably got a bigger tank than you, the CCSB trucks have smaller tanks than CCLB
