I just bought a 05 GMC Duramax about three weeks ago best decision I've made. I was a Ford Diesel guy back before they put these junk 6.0 in them. I had a banks programmer/tuner in my ford but through research and trying with error banks doesnt seem to be the best programmer for a duramax. So my questions is what seems to be the best tuner for a duramax, I'm looking for better fuel mileage and more horsepower of course.

Awesome thanks for the advice. I have been getting pm's about quadzilla and diablo predators, but I'm leaning towards the PPE standard due the 160 and 225 horsepower tunes.

My buddy just bought a PPE standard and his fuel mileage dropped 2.2MPG's. Any suggestions on that so i can help him out

 

i run with a couple duramaxes with efi live. they are strong. look at the video i posted about mineral wells truck pull and watch the white duramax. i only beat him about 2 foot.

PPE is probably the best canned tuner out there. But for real flexibility with your setup, get a reputable tuner and a good DSP5 tune with EFI Live.
