Default here is an interesting mileage question

ok this may sound odd but i 'm curious as to if there are any older trucks with low mileage... something that just sounds to go to be true, like an 02 with 10k miles on it or a 91 with 50k on it for example, everyone asks about high miles but my truck is a 2000 and has 150k and its low miles for around here.... anyone speak up if u have a low mileage truck

I bought my 00 truck in 07, it had 82,500 on the odometer. The same style truck, just different package was $3,000 more, and had 39,000 on the odometer at a different dealer. I would say it is entirely possible to have that low of miles. I would however get the history if possible by talking to the owner, find out what kind of miles they are, ie, short trips so the motor never warms up, or maybe pulling a trailer to Florida twice a year...that sort of thing.

yea i wouldn't be very likely to buy a low mileage for the fact it hardly runs so seals never seat in or go bad and im sure alot of work would be done to daily drive it... just thought it would be interesting to see

Today my truck has 132,xxx on the odometer...I don't drive it as much as I would like, We bought the Jetta in March of 07 with 15,xxx and in March of 10 it had 90,xxx...good thing it's a baby diesel...I've only had to put oil changes and tires into it and one wheel bearing. STILL NO BRAKE PARTS I check them every 5 to 10k and still running strong.
