i had my tranny rebuilt in my 97 cummins the guy says he replaced everything including the pump and put a built torque converter in it i got what was supposed to be a year guarantee
when i looked closer at the paper today it said 6 months when i left work i got on the high way and the tranny blew with no warining i lost 3 and up i got off the high way stopped at a gas station decided to go to my couisens shop as it was less than a mile so i headed that way and the rest of the tranny went so my cousin had to tow me with a chain and a ford
l8000 and befor the ford towing the dodge comments the ford has a cummins in it any way i get to my cousins shop call the guy and he gives me the run around wants me to tow it up there dosent want to cover it and acts like its no big deal i payed alot for it it took him a month to do it i was as nice as could be now i have no way to get to work and am lossing money out the butt all that said the tranny was done less then 2 moths ago so to punch him in the face or not

Fairly simple, 6 month warranty, broke in 2 months, he either stands behind it, gives a refund, or deals with a lawsuit! If you punch him, you're busted for assault.

sue him!! then after you sue him then knock him out, this way you still get your tranny aand you get the pleasure of kicking his butt for makin you go through the work of sueing him!!!

I agree with this Post! I would never suggest giving the guy a good old fashioned beat down, for reasons that it would implicate me in the crime committed. Conspiracy to commit a crime is a good reason to go to jail for life. And that is with out doing anything. All you need is two people saying that you might be thinking of a crime. You do what you need to do to let off the steam. you do let him know in a calm monotone voice that your not happy, and this is unacceptable. then report him to the BBB, Labor board, ASE, and another organization you can till this is fixed.

This happened to my dad he had bought a clutch for his peterbilt and it broke before the warranty was over and he went up there to get a new one and they acted like he didnt deserve **** so he started hollarin and cussin and they threatened to call the sherrif. well he came home with a free clutch.

threaten and see what he does, if he does nothing get a lawyer. punch after you get a settlement if you need to

Jail for life, for talkin about punchin someone. If that was the case I'd have gotten the death penalty by now.
