Go into the grocery store to get something for dinner and walk out with a job? I applied at our local grocery store and since it had been a while figured they hired someone else. I go in tonight and the manger calls me over and I told her I didn't want to fill out another application(they lost the I turned in) and she's like how about an employee form? I was like OK!
So I'm going to be working more than 1 day a week now. And since I sold my truck, every penny I make there will go toward a good ole OBS Stroker! I start tomorrow. I'm so excited! Just thought I'd share that with ya'll.

Thanks. Its been a long enough wait. This will be my first actual job since I graduated high school. Shows how bad the economy has been, doesn't it? Hopefully my schedule will work out so I can still work at the feed store Saturdays and make an extra $75 a week.

 

congrades i started my new job last week as a fire extinguisher technician it sucks but the money is good so until i find a job doing construction ill be fixing fire extinguishers

 

Congrats! I've been trying to get a different job for the past few months.
The early hours I'm working at FedEx has been getting to me but it'll be a year in January.

 

i just got called for my orientation for wednesday, for a local company making the 120 foot blades for the giant windmills!!!!

 

At least its work. I'd rather be welding.


Sounds like fun!

I was there today from 11 to 8 and I figured out I need to get new boots, my feet are killing me. About 30.5 hours this week at the grocery store and 6.5 at the feed store Saturday. Gonna be a busy week.
