No lift. It's stock height. I just put on BD steering box stabilizer and it's still the same. Would a better dampening rod help anything?

What size are the tires? Wider tires will cause a little wandering, not much you can do about it.

when you went from the 16-17 stock tires to the 20 inch tires you changed the steering geometry... did you get a good alignment afterwards? if not I would be willing to bet the toe in is out of wack... this usually if what fixes the wandering... and also have the caster checked as well....

The tires are 275/65r20. Not really big I don't think... And no lift on truck. Just stock height. I've had a few alignments From the Goodyear shop where I got the tires. Been same every time. I just installed the BD steering box stabilizer hoping that would fix it but no help. Would a better steering dampner help?

About the steering geometry stuff changing , the guy at the shop did say something about that stuff and kinda drew me a picture of what is happening but it just looked like a bunch of scribble from maddens play book.

Not bump steer. Bump steer is when you hit a bump and it rips the steering wheel out of your hands. It's caused by the steering arm and the track bar rotating along different arcs. Adding new tires won't affect that.
