have a 98.5 24v auto tran dodge cummins with 149,000 miles

Heres the story check eng light comes on went to auto zone said it's the tps

double checked with a diesel shop came up with the code for the tps
saying low voltage bat term are clean.

ck eng light went out it shifts at differ points around 2000 rpm's once in 4 gear the idle revs up and down.

had a new tranny put in last yr.

can anyone give me any ideas?
if it's my tps who is a good supplier?

Could be the APPS (or TPS as some call it).
You can get an aftermarket one that is better than the OEM one here:
Replacement TPS/ APPS
Of course some of the vendors here might be able to get it for you as well. I am wondering though if you might not have the ground issue on the PCM associated with the auto trannies. I will try to find a link and post it up.
