Looks more like a flail to me.
I know that professional media has a heck of a time identifying guns, apparently they're no better with medieval weaponry.

awww poor wittle guy. 55 mph winds? That's a light breeze!
Though I find it funny a guy in Wyoming is complaining about our wind. If Wyoming didn't blow so hard and Kansas didn't suck so bad, Nebraska wouldn't be windy. Simple as that.
