ok ..my truck starts and runs and idles fine...after about 20 min of driving it will spit and sputter and die...when it starts to do this ..it wont rev up at all..nothing...

then just turn off and restart and runs fine for 5 minutes then off again...

i have replaced 8 injectors all in last week..

white smoke bellows out also when it does this...

and when i break loose the filter element it has a lot of air in it...seems to me its loosing fuel pressure...

am i right thinking that?

 

Sounds like the lift pump is going out. How many miles on it?

 

has like 300000 on it...also replaced the oil pressure sensor on back of engine

injectors,sensor been replaced..

 

have you replaced and relocated ur pmd

 

PMD, Lift Pump OR WORSE !!! Injector Pump !!!

Dad's truck has the EXACT same symptoms... his IP is shut !
