Default NITTO Trail Grapplers

Can anyone give me their experiences with NITTO Trail Grapplers specifically. I'm looking for snow performance mainly. Size will be 285/75/16 Load Range E.

I had a set that had about 1/4 inch of tread and the first snow I was sliding all over the place... just like racing slicks but then again not much tread to really work with...

They seem to last me awhile on dry road though...
