Ok so I just replaced my stock exhaust with straight 5'' and now my engine light came on saying the my egr valve is bad. I was just wondering does anybody know if I can just delete the whole valve??? I have read that it is not needed and just soots up your motor and others say that I can't delete it on the lb7 any ideas. btw I have no emissions where I live so that is not a problem. thanks

 

You can do a blocker plate. I dont think anyone has a complete egr delete out yet

 

if I do the blocker plate will the check engine light go off or do I have to get a tuner???

 

The light will prolly stay on i think so would prolly need a tuner like a ppe or efi live

 

An LB7 does not have an EGR. You might have an LLY. You can either remove the egr completely or put blocker plates and a fingure stick in it.

 

there are two lb7s a caly and a fed the caly has a egr they do not make a block plate
there are not that may calys outthere, but i have one

 

we have the blocker plates for the california edition lb7 or whatever you wanna call it

 

what do you get for them i need to delete mine, does it delete the whole egr or just the valve

i'm taking it off all togather and changing the y pipe
