Has anyone ever replaced their tie rods with heim joints? I thought I read abouta guy who replaced all his ball joints with heim joints, but cant remember what sit it was on. any ideas?

 

tie rods, trac bar and steering. no ball joints.

This is next on my to do list.

 

Yeah i am thinking the same thing too. I just dont know where to get the joints and if someone alredy makes joints that will directly bolt up

Go to the vendor forum and take a look there. You can buy all the joints and DOM tube dirt cheap.

You can even get one of the members to fab it all up for you too.

There's a lot of goof fabbers there.
