Default Power steering fluid as a fuel additive??

The diesel shop not to far from me says that power steering fluid is a good fuel additive for lubricity. Anybody doing this or know anything about it??

alot of power steering fluids are the same as ATF and people have been using ATF in diesels for years, personally I don't know if I'd feel safe running it, but it can't be to terrible for the older trucks with the P-Pump or VP44, not sure how I feel about runnin it in a common rail is

I run a fifth of Jack Daniesls in every tankfull, I'm pushin 400 hp on the stock turbo and injectors. Plus it works out good cause I pick up one for myself while I'm there.

Well, from personal experience, I add leftover ps fluid, autotrans fluid, used motor oil to my super-dooper filtering setup....pour it into my tank, and off I go! 10 years and going strong....
