Default TS chip?

I'm looking into a chip for my 96 powerstroke and was wondering if anyone has dealt with TS performance single position 75hp chip or any TS chip for the 7.3?? I found one for a pretty good price.

Not sure what you are calling a good deal, but you can pickup a 6 position TS chip for good price and have a much better all-a-round chip.

Default decisions, decisions....

the only reason I considered the single pos. (75hp) for $225 over the 6 pos. for $350 was I dont need the 100 & 140hp settings & alot of people say they stay on 75hp setting anyways, but I guess if I had the high idle of the 6 pos. I could delete the EBV for cold weather, right??

You could also have tow tunes and daily driver tunes for fuel economy. An other tune that a lot of guys like is the quite idle tune. When you can get all 6 positions for just $70 more, I would wait it out and save your money. With a 96', you will be able to get the full affect of anything at 80hp and below.

Default TS 6 position is awesome

I have the TS 6 position on my 97 and it has done nothing but impress me. Easy to install and the people at TS performance are great to talk to and will help you trouble shoot it and do it right.

I have the 6 position formy 97 and I had problems when after a day of installing it, it would vibrate off the contacts and the truck won't start till u take it out or put it back on. Just make sure you keep the chip from moving at all with duct tape or something.
