Hello guys & gals, don't want to leave anyone out. First I would like to say that I'm a diesel sport nut. I have been to a few events and I can't get enough. I have 2 Dodge trucks myself, one daily & one special purpose project. I'm officially a Distributor for Matco Tools in the Fayetteville, NC area. I would like to set a date for the first time ever in our area for an all diesel event or meet & greet in late spring or early summer 2011. What do you think??? Would really like some input from some of you that have done this before. I know what I would like to have from what I've seen before at these events. Just don't know what goes on behind the scenes, other than some good organization. The place I would like to have it at is Fayetteville Motor Sports Park, its large enough. It has an 1/8th mile track, dirt circle track and could be set up for a truck pull but before I commit to that I would have to get with the track owner. So what do yah think??? Their is a couple place's that has a dyno here in town but not sure about a moble dyno. Anyone know of one close by?? There is a lot here because this is a military town. I'm retired Army myself. I'm just one person right now trying to put something together, would be open to some help. Believe me, we have all the eater's you could ever want, including a hooter's, 5 Walmart's, 4wheel Drive shop's, performance shop's and the tools you need, hence Matco Tool's, I'll be there with my truck of course. Ok! Enough! What do yah say????

Thanks, anything would help. Its like that movie "Field of Dreams", you build they will come. Hopefully!! Times are tough all over but not to bad here, mainly because of Fort Bragg. Fayetteville, NC is ranked one of the top 10 place's to be, as far as jobs and economy. Its not to bad!!
