Default Bad smoking on vacation, need advice

Getting a lot of blue gray smoke at idle (people staring). Seems to go away with some revs. I am 3000 miles from home. I have been using diesel kleen. No misfire, good gas MPG, no check engine light. Is it OK drive it home like this?

gonna need to know a bit more on the truck to say that for sure, but it sure sounds like injectors to me, check the oil level and see if it's a little more full than it should be, cause that is also another sign

Ok, I'm thinking it's the injectors also. The question is can I drive it 2000 some miles home without a problem or do I need to get it fixed first. It a 2003 Duramax. The injectors were replaced at 40k, and now the truck has 100k.

I'd get it checked out. I'd worry a cylinder could heat way up. Where are you now? Maybe someone can recommend a good shop.

I could get recommendation for 250 miles south and maybe 250 miles north, but hopefully someone can chime in about somewhere closer. Where are you headed after there?
