the map sensor is in the intake plate between the 3 and 4 injector lines it is held in place with 2 t15 torx screws.....also have you been noticing any smoke other then the smoke from the smarty...like any grey smoke at idle when its running rough?...noticed any kind of rattle to the engine under throttle?

i dont really think that the rough idle and the high egts and map sensor are going to be related...i mean i guess if the map is showin like 41psi (top of the range of the sensor) and the ecm was fueling it for that much boost it could....on the 06 that i had i got a map code a couple times i would just clear it and it wouldnt come back for a few months tho....sounds to me like you got a couple injectors cracked and they are over fueling those cylinders...that will cause a rough idle untill the engine temp comes up to burn the extra fuel then it will also cause the rattle when your on the throttle

If your throwing a MAP/AIT sensor code, the truck would go into limp mode. Post the code here so we can help you further.

not sure the code is clear and I cleaned the map seems to run smooth it just gives me the noids that something is wrong but ok for now the truck will still temp out on the egt if I stomp on it and hold it down the egts flashes at about 80-85 from 60 mph not sure if it was always like this I never held it down until I had a problem I have my smarty set at # 5 with 5 in exhaust from turbo back
