I have everything i need to put a new set of injectors in my truck and was wondering if anybody else knows how many hours it would take to put them in. Im not set up to do it myself so i have to take it in but i have have had quotes from 6 hours to 15. also if anyone has taken them in how much should i expect to pay. i have had quotes of 480 -1500. thanks.

 

Here's everything you need to finish the job, one of the best write ups I found. Only thing I would add is since its your first time doing these injectors make sure you mark and lable where all the vacume hoses go. It was the only thing I had a little hickup on, but you can do it.

it will take you the weekend to do it if it yours first time, and be careful with the Allen bolts on the valve cover, they are a pain and dont let them eat your lunch

 

i just did a set on an 02 and was 10 hours with no brakes.

 

Had them out in 4hrs but then I decided to adjust the valve lash and not sure how long going back in I would say its 10-12 in and out.
