my truck is a 05 duramax all i have done its the edge and a 5inch turbo back

i was wondering what is the best settings to put this on i heard to put defueling on?
an my screen said boost alert at 26 psi should it do that? i just want to set it up as safe a possiable for my truck so any tips or input on this would help me out alot

 

i have my chip set on drive at all times and for the response setting its at most responsive and never dumps black even when my foot is through the floor for boost its at 24 psi engine temp. is set at 240 f i dont have my egt in yet on order but i think some people set the at 1300 i had my tranny on never defuel but switched back when i dropped it to the floor and my truck red lined and felt like it was in neural guessin something slipped now it shifts harder when it defuels
