Default DMax Guy just bought 97 7.3!

I bought a 97 powerstroke, 5 speed manual in need of a clutch, with 101k on it for $300 bucks it had sat for 6-7 years and got it fired up. Gonna tow it a long ways home in a week. I know i need to change all the fluids and filters and all kinds of stuff, but being a DMax guy just lookin to see what else i should look at on it. Figured u powerstroke dudes could lend a hand. Always loved the old body style strokes!

You got one H E L L of a deal, those old POWERSTROKES don't have alot of HP & TQ compare to your D-MAX, but they are hard to kill

i know. The rancher owns the place i was guiding antalope hunters on in douglas wyoming, and i saw it just parked out with other "junk" trucks and asked if it ran. We worked on it for a bit and fired her up. So i told him i would buy it if it was cheap. Gonna pull it home the 3rd after another hunt up there.
