Default A few turbo questions

ok here is my dilemma. on my 97 i have coaltrain 5x14's, scheid LCDV's, 4kgsk, hi-rise injection lines, 18.5-19* timing and a super phat shaft 66 turbo. at WOT i can get around 1800-1900* exhaust temps from her while making 55psi of boost. the truck dont clear up, and at night i can make flames come out of dual 9" diameter stacks NOT GOOD

I have a brand new HT-60 with a 22cm housing. i am not too concerned with spoolup (im use to the 66), but didnt know if doing that would help my egt's. I noticed on CDS's website they have stock dodge manifold to HT-60 flange adaptors...

I would love to put an HX-35 on top and use the 60 as a bottom but money is tight so i cant do that.

Any insight would be appreciated

Thanks
Cody

you could get rid of the lazer cuts, keep your 66, and have lower egt's

But i like having the fastest diesel in this area, and i dont want to lose any power. i only have a 180 pump and i don't want to go back to stock dvs in case they dont like my 140's.

i know the ht-60 is too small to go under the 66, so id have to use a stocker for the top correct?

Only a 180 pump? Fella, that is the pump to have. Give it more timing. Take it up to 24ish and see how it acts.

yea only a 180 pump. motor was swapped supposedly.

about the timing...im running torqued over head bolts on a .020"+ headgasket running 55psi of boost. i didnt know if it would raise cylinder pressures too high and blow a headgasket.

thanks so far guys
