Default Turbo help

I am trying to decide on a turbo thinking of going with an hx40 just looking fir little extra boost and I was told to just go find a wrecked truck with an hx40 on it and rebuild it. Not looking to spend alot of money if I don't have to so I was told also that an h1c is the same as an hx40 but not sure need help trying to find the right solution but need some help

the HX40 is not much more than the hx35 so you may want to consider going to something a little bigger while your doing all the work and spending the money of replacing the turbo. and I had an HX 40 when I first got the truck and the turbo brand new lasted maybe 4 months. I wasnt a big fan
