Background info... I work at a sale barn.. we have a 3 day machinery, lawnmower, vehicle, trailer junk sale the weekend of labor day... yesterday there was a 1991 3/4 ton 2wd cummins.. 5 speed.. this thing was absolutely beat to ****... horrible condition... homemade hunk o crap flatbed... 5th wheel this freakin thing brought 1600 dollars!!!!! 170,000 showing guessing odo quit..just thought i'd share

hmmm if the engine really only had 170k on it then 1600 wasnt too bad of a deal.

It's kind of funny how auctions work. Somethings you expect to bring big money go for nothing, and sometimes people pay way too much for crap!

a cobbled together 03 powerstroke 350 drivetrain frame with a 06 450 body and something like 5.40 gears.. auto 297,000 miles stell flatbed nothing special brought 5700 bucks..: argh:

I have been to many a farm sales, and people will buy absolte poop, for more that what they can go to walmart or any place else for that matter and buy it new for. i went to one a few weeks ago, i was looking at a pile of 18" by 20ft long plastic culvert. i can buy them all day long at $225 each. Some dip bought the whole pile of 6 for $1500.00. It just doesn't make sense sometimes!!
