Default is over 700HP worth 15k?

If you try price out all parts new you can spend over 15k just in parts alone , then you gotta install it then tune it -
Race trans- 5k
3 disc billet converter 1,250
Twin's 4+k
3pcs Exhaust manifold 450
Injectors 800-1k
Injection Pump parts 400-800
Hi flow fuel system 500-700
Exhaust system 500-800
Arp head studs 450
Misc hardware 200-400
Intercooler 1,300
Intake system 250-350
Stg2 ported , o-ring head 3k-4k
Street camshaft - 500
Camshaft tappets 150
Hi rpm push tubes 300
As you can see it adds up fast & that's just all parts you still gotta install it all ...

think its a good deal?

building my truck has been a long drawn out ordeal you and to each their own some want to spend the money and of course there is other ways than just dumping the money into parts. You can out source stuff like head work to a local shop to build your current head and what not which saves money. I am just thinking most people build stuff like that over the years and don't think about the price because it is something they love doing.

My theory is if at some point you have to stop and ask yourself if it was worth the money and time then it wasn't for you and you need to find something else to do with your time and money that will make you happy.

If I had the coin, it would be worth it to me if it stayed together. My wife would kill me though, thats 3 times what I paid for the truck. Haha.

some of the items on your list seem a lil high but most people do it over time, and if you are handy and mechanically inclined you can do it for much cheaper, it will still be expensive though. you could always do waaaay to much fuel and nitrous

Ask yourself this: Do I really need to spend that amount of cash on my daily driver?? Only way it'll be worth it is if you were competition tractor pulling.
