Default what fuel plate

i have a 97 5 speed 4x4 i was wondering how many horse a 100 fuel plate was and if that is the one i need to go with i do tow with my truck and it is also my daily driver so would like the fuel mileage im also getting gauges so that is not a problem

what kinda of clutch do u have in your truck?

do you have any gauges? you would be fine running a 100 for towing but you should have gauges to watch your egts and if its an auto the tranny wont last long, whats all done to your truck?

im not sure on the clutch it is turned up a little bit right now and it holds great i am getting gauges very soon like a couple weeks

The #100 fuel plates is just like the #0 plate in the higher rpm ranges, but in the lower the #100 uses less fuel. So it increases the power of your truck quite a bit.

just take the plate out and put it in the glove box. u will love it

i have heard taking the plate out will throw my pump off time a buddy of mine took his out and it started running like $hi* and took it to a guy and said that was the problem

Just get a #100 off ebay for like $30, or grind one down yourself

Is it fair to say that on a mechanicaly injected motor, your mileage is ultimately controlled by your foot??
