Default Custom stainless intake horn

So here are some pics of the intake horn I built today. Used 304 stainless 3" schd 10 pipe and fittings, 1/2" 304 mounting plate and 1/8" NPT 304 half couplings on the backside. This was my first attempt at TIG welding pipe and it didn't turn out near as well as I was hoping, will probably end up grinding the welds down before I buff it.

I have done some TIG welding before and in school, just not on pipe. The couplings and mounting plate turned out good, I'm not happy with the pipe joints though. They will function just fine, just not as pretty as I wanted. And I have read the same thing about the dyno results, built it for lower egts and boost/water-meth fittings for when I get to that point. Not sure if I could build one for someone else at work or not, and I don't have access to a TIG machine anywhere else. Need to find a reducer boot now.........

Glad to see you posted that with good feedback, I stumbled onto their page last night and was figuring on ordering from them.
