nitrous
i dont know if this is the right place to put this topic. before i buy a nitrous kit for my cummins i have a few questions. first of all its a stock bottom end with 280k on it. i do have valve springs, gov springs, 191 dv, marine 370's, intake horn, etc. with the 125 shot i was looking at be a good investment? i dont want to granade this thing. also i know on gassers you have to retard timing when spraying, i want to get my timing advanced so is it even worth putting no2 on? thanks
i once herd from a wise man "you can spool any turbo with the right amount of nitrous"
but in all seriousness like jrad989 said get studs and o-rings.... also a buildt tranny would be good too...

The tranny is getting built right now. What kind of effects would I expect to see as far as boost pressure and such? Id be more worried about the bottom end coming apart I would think, but I really dunno... hence why I asked
nitrous increases cylinder pressure a ton. you would want studs and either o rings or fire rings. without your asking for trouble. also nitrous would explode that stock turbo in a heartbeat
because you would then have a truck... with nitrous!!!!
duh silly..everything is better with nitrous no matter the consequence right??? its a diesel truck.. stay with diesel 4 a while bud..
