Better MPG'S better throttle response. Also you don't have to worry about having the stupid thing cleaned or replaced when it can't clean itself.

Another question, What are things that will effect the tranny, which mods?

not sure what you mean...affect your trans in a negative way or positive? a stock trans will not hold the power for too long after mods such as a tuner and injectors, bigger turbo...and so on. on the positive side trans mods such as billet shafts and torque converters. or heavy duty clutches helf beef things up...what mods have you done or thinkin about and you will give us a better idea

Well, im thinking of getting a cummins (5.9L due to dpf) because of the great fuel economy & engine. I AM just going to be a daily driver, never going to haul anything as i know of as of now... im just planning on getting a smarty for improved fuel eco.. and guages, & intake and later on a bigger exhaust.

If it was me I would do the intake and exhuast first. With any big programmer the exhuast temps will get hot. The trans will not hold much over stock. as a daily driver with intake, exhuast, and a programmer your trans will hold up fine if you don't hammer on it every day.

By hammer you mean? and just fine as in over 400K miles right? i mean it wont affect the longevity of it right?

How long can a dodge tranny last with those mods only?

& 5.9 24v a good engine?
